StikNPeel™ FAQs

StikNPeel™ stencils are designed for single use.
The StikNPeel ™ stencils are available for 4 (0.10mm), 5 (0.13mm) and 6mil (0.15mm) thicknesses.
Present the Stencils Unlimited staff with the mechanical datasheet of the part, GERBER drawing including the paste layer section of the site you would like to rework or a dxf or dwg file and after order entry we'll let you review the stencil design prior to fabrication.
The smallest area would be 2 x 2mm (75 mils) and the maximum area is 2.5"(63.5mm) x 2.5".
StikNPeel ™ stencils can be manufactured and have been tested for use for leaded devices down to 0.50mm pitch, 0.25mm aperture with 0.25mm spacing between apertures. Below these guidelines we suggest using a metal rework stencil or StencilQuik ™.
StikNPeel ™ stencils can be manufactured and have been tested for use for leaded devices down to 0.50mm pitch, 0.36mm aperture with 0.14mm spacing between apertures. Below these guidelines we suggest using a metal rework stencil or StencilQuik ™.
If stored in optimal conditions (see datasheet) the adhesive system of the StikNPeel ™ stencil has a shelf life of 2 years.
There is no practcial limit on the aperture opening but the webbing limit (ie the distance between 2 successive openings) is limited to 0.4mm (15mils). While smaller webbing distance can be machined using a squeegee to roll the paste in to the aperture openings becomes the limit.
